Dr. Murad Mamedov, Postdoctoral Scholar, Microbiology and Immunology, School of Medicine, University of California, San Francisco, is using gene-editing technologies to create a new platform for understanding an important set of immune cells that may provide the keys to diagnosing, preventing, and treating infectious and non-communicable diseases such as cancer.
