2024 Michelson Philanthropies & Science Prize for Immunology Awards

Keystone Symposia recently hosted an ePanel featuring the recipients of the 2024 Michelson Philanthropies & Science Prize for Immunology.

The event, titled "Michelson Philanthropies & Science Prize for Immunology Awards: Breakthrough Discoveries in Human Immunology," welcomed finalists Carla Nowosad and Gabriele Casirati and Grand Prize winner Bingxu Liu. The investigators presented their groundbreaking research in human immunology and responded to questions from viewers. Opening remarks were given by Alya Michelson, co-chair of Michelson Philanthropies, and Bill Moran, Publisher of Science/AAAS, and Holden Thorp, Editor in Chief of Science/AAAS.

The Michelson Philanthropies & Science Prize is a collaboration between the Michelson Medical Research Foundation and Science to support young investigators doing transformative research in human immunology, based on work done in the past three years. The winner is awarded $30,000 and the publication of their essay in Science.
